Soap Crafted in the Timeless Tradition
Natural soap made the ancient way. No harsh industrial synthetic surfactants used. We avoid these synthetic surfactats because of the toxic chemicals used to create them that also that end up in the final soap product!
Only 3 fundamental ingredients: water, lye, and the perfect ratio of natural plant oils.

Directions, Applications, and Safety

Cautions: Keep this soap out of eyes. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water to remove soap. See your physician when irritation isn’t relieved.

Oils in Our Soap Production
Claya's Liquid Castile Soap is crafted by harmoniously blending three superior cleansing oils.
Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Unrefined and cold-pressed Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil offers a mild cleansing effect that prevents skin from excessive dryness. This is attributed to its unique fatty acid composition, with approximately 70% oleic acid. The presence of a kink in the fatty acid chain, prevents them from tightly stacking upon each other, enabling the oil to spread evenly and be less harsh on the skin.
Organic Unrefined Coconut Oil
The unique composition of organic coconut oil, marked by its high content of medium chain triglycerides, such as lauric acid, endows it with a remarkable ability to efficiently attract and envelop oily substances, making their removal during rinsing a breeze.
Organic Castor Bean Oil
Organic castor bean oil contributes a luxurious lathering quality to soap, due to ricinoleic acid, which makes up around 90% of its fatty acid composition. The structure of ricinoleic acid, distinguished by a kink and a hydroxyl group within its unsaturated fatty acid chain, gives it a unique characteristic. This distinctive configuration boosts the oil's polarity, converting it into a humectant with increased viscosity and superior lathering capabilities.
Liquid Castile Soap
Directions
Hand, Face, Body Wash
Use a quarter-sized amount applied to wet hands or washcloth.
Dish Soap (Hand-washing)
Dilute 1 part soap to 9 parts water. Apply directly on sponge or brush.
Laundry Detergent
Use 1/2 cup per large load. For best results, add 1/2 cup vinegar in rinse cycle. For extra whitening, add 1/2 cup baking soda to wash cycle. For HE washers, use half the amount.
Shaving
Use a quarter-sized amount applied to wet hands, apply to area.
All-Purpose Cleaning Spray
Dilute 1/4 cup in a quart of water. Transfer to spray bottle. Optional: add 1/4 tsp essential oil.
Fruit & Veggie Wash
Add 1/4 tsp to a bowl of water. Dunk produce to wash. Rinse well.

Dilute 1 part soap to 9 parts water. Apply directly onto sponge or brush. Scrub onto items to form a lather following with a water rinse.
Laundry Soap
Liquid castile soap will pull dirt and oils off your laundry as a detergent will.
